What is Foundations?
Regardless of a person’s past athletic experience or current level of fitness, everyone who first comes to CrossFit Turbine is provided with the opportunity to learn about basic techniques, terminology, pre-workout warm ups and exercises before participating in regular classes. These are our Foundations classes. Taught by head trainer, Adam Fernandes, these classes are for first-timers only and meet three times a week, for two consecutive weeks, at a cost of $125.
Foundations classes are kept to very small sizes to ensure one-on-one attention. As you work through the six consecutive sessions, you will learn about the correct form for basic, functional CrossFit movements, and slowly work up to increase your level of intensity. Foundations is the perfect place to ask questions and gain confidence in the movements before transitioning into our regular classes. Attendance and participation is mandatory, so if you are unable to make a session, contact Adam who will work with you to reschedule. To sign up for Foundations classes, check here.
